The game looks interesting. Anyone played and know if this game and its expansion is worth 6.25€.

I kinda enjoyed it, although it was buggy as hell and had some major issues. I say you should pass on this one.

So the game itself is fun? I usually don't care if the game has some bugs if the game is fun.

I guess it is for a while, but it has been a long time since I've played it, watch some gameplay videos and try to form an opinion. It is definitely not for everyone, lots of
repetitive gameplay and micromanagement.

I just bought it yesterday.  I loved the original, and they preserved the gameplay.  I think they did a lot of work patching this game up to get rid of the glitches (although there are a few minor bugs lingering, like the speech switching from english to german and back sometimes).  It's a really interesting medieval economics sim with a lot of depth, you can build a dynasty in a bunch of different professions, rise to political power, spy on enemies, etc.

NOTE: I bought the pack of both for $6.75, but since then I found out that the "expansion" is really a stand-alone, so it seems like there's no reason to buy the original (it was only another $2.50, so I'm not complaining).

I hope this helps, I say buy it up before it goes off sale in 2 hours!

If you got the spare cash, just do a Vinny and buy it.

The Renaissance Expansion has no tutorial, and for people who haven't played before that's a big deal.

So this is on sale again with 2 expansions, is this game as bad as the reviews imply or should I pick it up?

When i saw the 3 game collection on Steam for 5 bucks i just splurged. From what i've seen of the game it's pretty fun, i love how you build your dynasty and gain political clout with the city. If you enjoy watching "The Borgias" it feels a lot like that.

I've only played solo but i looks like it'd be fun to play with a group of people. Each one with their own agenda and trying to be on top.
