A re-release of two classic Team Ico games that feature HD graphics & stereoscopic 3D support. Features originally found only in the Japanese and PAL versions of the games (co-op play in Ico, for example) are included in the North American release for the first time.
Kotaku reported that the games will be released in Japan on September 22, 2011 for 3,980 yen ($49) each or 6,890 yen ($87) for both. Anyone know much about how these prices are typically adjusted for North American releases? Or are they going to be 49 bucks a pop ($87 for both) over here as well?
I'm sure they will be bundled in the West as they simply can't get away releasing them separately here.
Peace Walker HD is getting released separately in Japan as well. I believe it's the best-selling game in the series over there so it wouldn't make sense to bundle it that soon after its original release.

Yeah that what I've heard most people saying, but do you think they'll release the bundle over here at anything near $90 dollars?
I've been anxiously awaiting this thing since it was announced (and well before that even), but as someone who has already played the bulk of both games and really only has strong nostalgia for the SotC half of the package I can't see me paying anything near 90 bucks for it.
If you don't think I'd spend 100 bucks for Shadow of the Colossus and ICO at 1080p and 60 fps, you are fucking crazy. All they have to do is name their price.
Japanese retail prices always get adjusted downwards.
For instance, have a look at Dark Souls on Amazon.co.jp: 6163 JPY, and that's after the 21% discount Amazon.co.jp gives (suggested retail price: 7800 JPY). So, yeah. The ICO / SotC collection is kind of cheap in comparison.
