The Last Guardian is the long-delayed third game from Sony's Team Ico. Originally revealed in trailer form at E3 2009, the game was met with substantial delays and hasn't been shown publicly since TGS 2010. The game's current status, according to Sony, is "on hiatus."

Luckily I figured out fairly quickly after I preordered that that wasn't a real date. They also have Sonic Generations 3DS as 11/28 even though it's officially 11/22, and multiple other games last time I checked as January 1st (including Bioshock Infinite and Metal Gear Solid Rising). The worst is Xenoblade, which I preordered as a show of good faith with Project Rainfall (only to have Nintendo continue to be idiots about it). I get an email every few weeks saying they're still trying to obtain a release date for it. I already imported and played it that way.
