The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is considered to be one of the greatest games of all time, due in large part to the seamless unity between traditional Zelda gameplay and the bold, artistic, 3D environment in which it is presented.

Easter Egg

Players can find many little bonus things in the game.
Elements

The Classical Elements are usually considered to be Earth, Water, Air and Fire. In modern science, the Periodic Table has increased the number of elements to 118.
Enemies That Spawn Enemies

An enemy that uses a spell or a skill to multiply and add another enemy to fight
Environmental Puzzles

A puzzle where you have to use your surroundings, i.e. "environment" in order to progress.
Escort Mission

Missions during which players are tasked with protecting a non-playable character or object from harm until a certain goal is met.
Evil Twin

A dark version of a game's hero, featuring many of the same powers. Usually wears black. Male evil twins often have goatees.
Exploration

Players must explore the world and temples to find anything.
Explosion

Link can throw bombs that explode.
Fairy

Fairies appear in many games, usually as a race that will assist players with magic. Fairies are almost exclusively female.
Fake Interactivity

A game with fake interactivity will present the player with a choice, but will prevent further progress, such as by repeating the choice, until the player selects a specific answer.
Falling Damage

Receiving damage or dying as a result of falling.
Fast Travel

Players can travel to certain locations quickly by playing certain songs.
Fetch Quests

Certain quests and side quests make Link run from place to place gathering things.
Fidelis Forma

Fidelis Forma translates to "True Form." It represents the event that occurs when a character reveals a previously unknown nature or power that they have previously hidden.
Fight Yourself

That bad guy looks awfully familiar... probably because it's you. This is for games where you fight yourself or an evil version of yourself
Final Boss

The last boss you face in a game, usually representing the final climax of the game.
Fire

There is fire in the game.
Fish

Cold-blooded aquatic animals that have scales and breathe through gills.
Fishing

Players can go fishing in OoT.
Flash Forward

These games allow the character to see what is going to happen before the character actually gets there. This is normally done to give a unique perspective on the story
Foreshadowing

Foreshadowing is a plot device that allows the creators to leave subtle (or not-so-subtle) hints about future events in the game.
Freezing Weapons

Weapons that kill by freezing your enemies to death.
Game Over

By running out of hearts, players get a game over.
Game Reference

The concept of a game referencing another game through mockery, parody or even directly. A game reference to the same franchise does not count.
Games on Which Comic Books are Based

Games which have served as the basis of a comic book or vice versa.
Games That Ask You to "Press Start" But Will Accept Other Buttons

An interesting revelation. While some games will only accept a START button press, many other games aren't as strict.
Gerudo

The Gerudo tribe make an appearance in OoT.
Giant Insects

Giant Insects are insects and other 'bugs' that are far larger than in the real world. Some are about half the size of a human, others are bigger than buildings. Larger than life or gigantic insects are a common element in many video games, especially those of the RPG Genre.
Giant Killing

When the player, compared to the adversary he/she is supposed to defeat, looks like a tiny inchworm.
Glitch

There are certain glitches to be exploited in OoT.
