Celebrating 10 Years of a Legend

Posted by ArclightBorealis (1563 posts) -

Today, on November 21st, marks the tenth anniversary of what many revere to be the greatest game of all time.

The Legend of Zelda: The Ocarina of Time

In honor of this moment, Nintendo Power did an interview with Eiji Aonuma to talk about what it was like developing the game, looking at how far the series has come since, and although, nothing really about the next game in the series (other than he took a break to do the interview).

Will we see a successor to this masterpiece? Only time will tell.

TheHylia was courteous enough to take scans of the interview, and can be downloaded for your viewing pleasure.

Or if you dont feel like downloading, here are the scans for you to view.

Man it's hard to believe Ocarina of Time came out that long ago, but it still remains one of the best games of all time to me and shame they aren't working on a new one right now.

I want to play this again, but I don't have my N64 anymore. :(

This is totally my favorite game of all time, I remember I cried when I finished it, I didn't want it to end. :(

My opinion of Ocarina of Time? *Flame shield* It is fantastically overrated. I've always felt that the best game in the series is Majora's Mask. /shrug To each his own.

Ocarina Of Time is the best game that has ever been made. Never has a game been as inventive, innovative and so perfectly designed as Ocarina Of Time.

The only games that come close are Super Metroid, Super Mario 64 and Super Mario Galaxy.

It's ok, I think A Link to the Past is the best Zelda game.

I do love ocarina of time, you can't deny it's influence on 3D games.
