I just bought a DS finally, and have been trying to find some games for it.  So I was wondering if this game is good, and how does it compare to other Zelda's.

Not as good as the other Zelda games I thought, but still a good game in its own right.

No, the Temple of the Ocean King was the worst idea ever.

It's also as easy as a Zelda game can get (with the exception of the Temple of the Ocean King, but that's frustrating for the wrong reasons).

Ugh. Timed temple. It wasn't quite as difficult / frustrating as I expected it to be though.

Why is it that in almost every new Zelda game, any temple having to do with water is always so frustrating?

    Twilight Princess - Water Temple

I thought it was good. It brought many new things to the Zelda franchise that were new and welcome, apart from the timed temple.

    WW fans should enjoy it.

Not really. I guess it's good on it's own... but not by Zelda standards. Hardly a worthy successor to WW.

It's probably the weakest link of all the proper Zelda games. I didn't care for it at all.

Don't listen to the nay-sayers.  The game is excellent and still one of the highest rated DS so far - and for good reason.  It looks gorgeous and plays wonderfully with the stylus.  You can only know how good it is by playing it and seeing for yourself.  There is little risk of regretting your purchase.

It's a pretty good game outside of the Template of the Ocean King. Having to play through a dungeon more than 2 times was what eventually made me quit this game. But again: If you can get passed that stupid idea, it is quite enjoyable.

Its pretty freakin' sweet. As long as you don't emulate it on a ROM cart or whatever, you'll love it.

If you are a bad, bad panda and choose to emulate it, you'll bore of it pretty quickly. As good as it is, it's just another Zelda game.

    The CD-i games. ;)
Zelda games are usually pretty great, but the individual quality varies from title to title. There are some mechanics in a few of the games that some people like and some don't.
