As previous duders have pointed out, Link has always looked somewhat androgynous. I think you need to redifine what you constitute as a "chick". Also, he's totally prebuscent. Stop posting pictures of his ass.

I think it's definitely something to do with the lips. You also need to keep in mind he's still a pointy eared elf dude. Of course elves are going to look like chicks.
I'll grant you, Link has always looked feminine, but now he looks... I don't know. Like a lady who... likes other ladies? He'd be the masculine one, for sure.
Im pretty sure he is meant to have always been androgynous. I am remembering an interview years back were they stated he isnt supposed to be neither male, nor female.
as graphics get better and better, the more japanese games are going to alienate american audiences.
I'm suprised people are just NOW getting around to disliking the way Link looks.
Increased visual fidelity means making more and more choices. ANd every design choice you make as an artist means there's one more thing to potentially alienate the audience.
Link has always struck me as very young. Hormones are just saying hello. What that is above...looks like an elven chick. I don't play Zelda, but whenever I've seen him that is what I have rationalized
i think the character designs especially are pretty awful to be honest. bit of a disappointment ... i'm replaying Wind Waker at the moment and the designs in that are brilliant
game looks really interesting though so not a massive deal. flying around above the clouds is a lot like sailing the seas - there's little islands floating around you can set down on and explore. then also you can dive down to earth where the field and dungeons are.
Man, I remember when you posted that picture last time and my mind was still reeling from that. It's still horrible how well it works, especially compared to other, similarly voyueristic creepy gender swapped character fanart.

Certainly dude. My taste for non-androgynous character designs stems from my latent lust for penetrating hairy unwashed smelly sweaty male bungholes and not from a preference of major kickass-dom and the aesthetic depiction of graphical violence.
