I sort of figured that Nintendo would eventually release this image, which is the first from the next Legend of Zelda game on the Wii. That's a good thing, because I couldn't really find a great way to describe the way the girl in the foreground looks.

Nintendo Releases Image For Next Wii Zelda

For some reason, I keep thinking Twilight Princess when I see that thing. Or Ruto (I think that was her name...the Zora from Ocarina of Time).
I would say that the statue is a key to locating the Master Sword, not the Sword itself. I know Nintendo is a little off its game, what with...a train, but a sword that magically transforms into a statue? Nuh-uh.
Also, the statue isn't near his sword hand, it is near his sheathe. But if he has his shield in one hand, why would his sword be sheathed? No, it isn't his sword. It has something to do with Princess Zelda and the location of the Ocarina of Time, the Master Sword, or both. Well, I guess we'll have to wait and see. Only Time will tell....
...OH-HOAH! c wut i did ther?
" Link isn't holding a sword so I guess she is the sword... maybe you toss strange balls to capture a large variety of "swords" with the number of possible catches being 151 or more. =P "
Twilight Princess was not the kind of mature that I wanted. Personally I wanted a more well told story that eventually gets to the point where you yourself go "oh man this is just fucked'. They can do that in Wind Waker graphics without violence as far as I care, as long as I dont have to un-freeze the Zora's for the hundredth time.
I have a very strong feeling thats the fairy Queen from Wind Waker, they look very similer------------------------------------>
After seeing how terrible Twilight Princess and Phantom Hourglass were, I'm not overly excited for another Zelda game to be on the radar. I mean, I loved Majora's Mask and and Wind Waker, but Spirit Tracks isn't going to do anything but disappoint me. I hope that I am unable to say that about this new Wii project.
I'm really hoping that right-handedness only appears in concept art and doesn't extend to the actual game.
Lame. I want to see Link evolve, not whatever dumb bitch he's saving this time. And Link looks exactly the same as he always does.
