The Matrix Online was an MMORPG that continued the story of the Matrix franchise past the third film, 'Revolutions'. The game featured a unique 'Interlock' combat system, flexible skill allocation and a constantly evolving storyline that players could interact with. The game was shut down on July 31st, 2009.

They have a link up for their Matrix Online video (part 1), but it's not playable yet. When do you think we'll get to see it?!

I believe it's shutting down after July, so they are doing sort of an Endurance Run-like video for it this month.

OH HELL YES.   Huge Matrix fan, but after playing the MxO beta however many years ago, it was, while cool in some regards, overall a bland and pretty uninteresting MMO.

Maybe some stuff has changed...presumably no paradigm shifts have made if it's shutting down.  Oh well, have to give it credit for lasting for as long as it did, the community seemed pretty close. 

The Giant Bomb take on it should be fun :D

The Matrix online was an awesome concept, its to bad it didn't work out. I'll watch the video.

LOL, I think that is the same huge box they used in the Let's Tap video.

The real question is what that box was for that they just had it haphazardly laying around the office to use for such a video series!!!

THE BOX IS THE MATRIX!!!  That has to be used for EVERY ONE of the videos...unless it already is...

Also, the EAT sign is turned off.  =  (

And i would totally watch this endurance run thing especially if its about the matrix.
