    I bought the game, then got the no-CD (easier for me), then I go to click it. After like a minute or so, I get this message...

    The previous Sims 2 games I did not have to update, and it worked fine. So I decided to update my drivers, and the DirectX & Direct3D stuff (just in case), the last installation never prompted me to restart. Anybody know the problem? I restarted once before with the other update I used.

    What kind of video card are you using? and if it`s only happening after the No-Cd hack/patch then thats probably the problem.

    RADEON X300/X550 Series

    Like I said before, all of the other Sims 2 games worked fine on it. I never tried it with the CD, yet.

    Wow, it was actually the NO CD file I was using, used a different one and it worked. Thanks, this can be locked now.
