Overview

The Sims: Livin’ Large is the first of several expansions packs for the widely popular, “ The Sims” game. It offers very few major changes to the main game, but it also offers many new additional features. There are new objects, careers, NPCs and new interactions for the NPCs and objects.

Gameplay

With little changes to the original game the expansion also offers new NPCs, in game objects, and interactions between Sims and the NPCs and items. Various NPCs are Servo, Grim Reaper and Tragic Clown.  Most of the NPCs need objects in order to see them. For example the Genie Lamp summons the Genie.

Other objects include a guitar which raises creativity skill points, a crystal ball which the Sim can gaze into. Another object also was a love bed which allows the Sims to “ play” in bed which was also a new social interaction. Other objects were a Chemistry set, toy rockets, downloadable objects from the official website and over 120 more. An additional new feature was allowing 5 additional neighborhoods in the games, which the player can control up to 50 families. This was one of the more major features in the game
