This game looks fantastic. I really love the look and sound of that bolt-action rifle.
It was a good decision to not base the next game on Metro 2034.
The book was incredibly boring

was just thinking exactly that, incredible
No kidding... it's mesmerizing @_@
@captain_clayman: meh last light just looks like its another shooter...the first Metro game had a lot of character and the economy really wasnt hard.
Don't wanna be a party pooper, but all the cloth and ropes you're seeing are very likely just animations and no real-time physics. It would be kinda stupid spending 90% of your gpu/cpu on a bunch of background-assets doing the same animation over and over.... but you're right, it does look totally awesome!
No doubt, but I still can't take my eyes off it.
The guns still do seem to sound...right. I don't know what it is about Eastern European games but the guns always seem to light for me, like I'm firing an air rifle not an assault rifle. Need more weight behind the sound.
This is the only game that graphically rapes my PC.
(Witcher2 ubersampling doesn't count)
