After separating from her friend Lee, young orphan Clementine must survive through the undead apocalypse with a new roaming group of survivors in this sequel to Telltale's adaptation of the comic book of the same name.
17th December 2013 Confirmed release!
I know I should care more. But I wasn't blown away by the narrative in the first season. I think they created some interesting characters, and masked decisions in a clever way that allowed the player to feel like they were having a big impact, but still not manipulating the story they wanted to tell. But that story just kind of felt like every zombie movie, game, and tv show I've ever seen. Incidentally, I can't get into The Last of Us for similar reasons.
Giant Bomb wiki already had this information, though!
It's been on the steam page for at least a week, too.
Maybe not in all regions?
@tearhead: I'm wondering this myself as well.

Hmmm, still no word on the release date on PS3, but at least it's confirmed that the season pass will be $19.99.
"The Season Pass on PlayStation 3 will be $19.99, and that’ll get you access to episodes 1 through 5 as they become available (yep, still 5 episodes!)."
I really hope they make it available on the new consoles eventually. As far as I know it's just steam, 360 and Ps3. I'd love to know if I'm wrong.
I bought it as I want to see what happens next, but I'm kind of disappointed that the story is about Clem. I was really hoping it would be an all new cast as I never liked Clem. Maybe they can make her a likeable character that I care about this time around, but I just found her an annoying tag along in the first game.
can you buy it one episode at a time? kinda broke right now but I got 15$ on my steam account? right now it seems like they're only selling the whole thing together.
Start idling those games and earning cards to sell on the market. With the right games you can make a dollar every few hours if you get cards worth $.25 a pop. I have made about $20-$30 since the whole dumb card thing started and that's not even trying to go out of my way to get them. That's just from playing games like I always do. So basically Steam is giving you money to play games. It's great!
I'll wait for a next gen version.
Today. @steam_games worldwide, @PlayStation 3 North America. Tomorrow, @Xbox 360 ww, @AppStore this week. @PlayStationEU To be confirmed.

Hope the EU PS3 version gets announced soon :(
Anyone playing the PS3 version? If so, did you/can you buy the season pass up front or do you need to buy the first episode first? The first episode is up on PSN, but the option to buy the season pass isn't. At least I can't find it, if it's up.
Man, I was afraid of this. Same thing happened with Wolf Among Us so I never bought the first episode.

Same as the first game. You have to buy the first episode and then the season pass. The last 4 episodes are treated as DLC.

Do not follow this advice. According to Telltale's responses in this thread, you will end up paying the non-discounted price this way.
Hey there! The season pass offers a 25% saving over purchasing the episodes individually. You’d need to wait for the season pass in order to get the discount – since the season pass includes Episodes 1-5, purchasing Episode 1 first would negate your discount. If you’re planning to wait, hang in there!
We’re working with PlayStation to get the Season Pass up in the store as soon as possible. Stay tuned!
The Season Pass will be $19.99 USD or equivalent. So if you purchased Episode 1 (for $4.99 USD) and then later got the Season Pass, you’d end up the same as if you’d purchased the episodes individually. Up to you!

Same mistake in that they didn't launch the season pass along with the first episode like they should have. You can get the season pass for Wolf Among Us now for the discount price.

Damn I was getting excited to play it tomorrow.
