    Will you need to pay for the Enhanced Edition if you already own the game?

    Man, CDProjektRed. They really treat the fans and the customers right. Fudged up DRM...gets rid of it and makes all the preorder items available as a show of goodwill. Dammit these guys...I dunno if they're economy over there is so good that they can afford to make massive changes and add so much content that other companies would have just straight up charged for them as DLC or a "title update".

    DRM was only in the boxed version forced by the publisher if I remember correctly.

    It gets people talking about the game again and likely drums up sales due to all the news articles reporting on the update. Even if the game is selling for $15-20, they likely make a comparable amount to what they would have had with an expansion pack and for likely less effort (although the changes are still huge).

    Yep 'cause Atari, or Namco maybe, tried to sue them for releasing a patch that got rid of the DRM a few weeks after the game released.

    This is pretty cool. Haven't gotten a chance to play it yet since buying it during the Steam sale. I guess I'll wait until the EE drops and play. Anyone have any objections as to why I shouldn't? I've been itching to play it for a while.

    The Witcher 2 sold well enough and they make plenty from running GoG (much like Valve), gives them some breathing room.

    @AhmadMetallic: Huh, I don't know. I haven't tried it. I'll look around, though.

    Heh, well, the story revolves that way, so I don't know what to tell you. Maybe this will change after they expand Chapter III. Also, it seems you would much more enjoy Iorveth's path (I went with Roche myself, so I was stuck in Henselt's Camp (That asshole) just like you.).
