It's not "new" if it was going to be The Witcher 2 port. I was hoping for a new IP entirely.

Yeah i wouldn't be surprised if they announce a console port of the Witcher 2.  It's getting good praise from the gaming community and it would be a wise investment to tap the console market as well since it's definitely bigger than the PC gaming market.

you all wrong. they won't introduce console version of TW 2 in E3. they will announce totally new IP. of course, they have a plan to make console version. 
but don't expect too much. they could abandon it just like what they did for the witcher 1. so don't be too excited.
