Ok.... I've roamed  the 4 dimensions of the internet and still haven't found a way to this quest. First I couldnt find Olcan"s room because it didnt show in the map, even after I've talked to Cecil Burdon and he said he would show me where the house is, so after going inside of every house in Vergen I finally found the right house and got Olcan's notes. Now the quest says to "wait for events to unfold" . The thing is all I have left to do before moving on to the third Chapter, is that battlefield quest, and baltimores nightmare quest, but if i finish baltimores quest i will also finish thoraks suspect quest, an the Walls have ears will fail. So what do i do to finish both quests?   
 
I have finished the game once without completing this quest and in the third act ....(SPOILERS)........There's a cutscene that tells you that Prince Stennis have become king and geralt also sayid it like the prince was the one who poisoned Saskia , so i think that this quest is very important to stop that  and have the Prince condemned, which may be something that will affect the next game or expansion pack...  

I wasn't able to finish that quest either, despite it said "wait for events to unfold" -_-
