These are the extra quests that you access from the main menu, not actual side quests in the main game. I just finished the main game, and at 35ish hours im pretty happy, but also pretty much done with it I think... especially with Witcher 2 coming out in a few days which i want to get day 1. Should i bother with those extra mini campaigns or are they pointless (as most extra stuff usually is after you finish the main games in my opinion :/)?

They aren't worth playing if you want to prepare for The Witcher 2, but if you want more of the original, then I would give the mini-campaigns a try. They aren't too bad as standalone adventures.

something that's bothering me is that all the reviews only mention 2 extra adventures, and i have like 6 or 7 in the menu... some look very silly like a Wedding one and a Christmas one? are these fan-made or something? Dont think im going to bother to be honest, i actually loved the game but i am a little Witchered out and like i said i want Witcher 2 next week... that, and my backlog is gigantic :P

side note: as i decided not to play them i proceeded to delete the game from steam as i usually do with games im done with, only to remember 2 seconds later than the save carries over to Witcher 2...UGH. Lets download 14gigs again i guess... (unless you can acess your cloud saves without downloading the actual games on steam?)
