Ok, so I'm only a couple of hours into TWEWY, but the game introduces so many concepts so quickly that it's pretty hard to keep track of it all. I'm not a big RPG player, but I still think the learning curve is very steep. Thoughts?

The game gets a lot better as you progress, keep playing. =)

it's fairly comlicated in theory, but usually you dont have to apply all of it at the same time.(eg, unless im fighting black noise or bosses i dont keep track of the light puck, or, in most cases, the top screen, for that matter)

I hope not. I really want to play it, as soon as I'm done with the backlog of DS games I've yet to plow through.

It certainly seems daunting at first but after awhile you get used to it and controlling both screens becomes second nature. At least that's what I think.

The light puck is a great way to make the seemingly chaotic action manageable.  Follow it.

It's nice and even though a little rushed at first, you get everything down pretty quickly.

It's perfect, cuz it lets you choose the the difficulty. You can increase your HP or decrease it at any time. The lower it is, the more pins enemies will drop. And, you don't have to control the top screen. When I started I just got Neku's moves down first, then after quite a few battles I would start messing with Shiki's controls.
