I reckon we all chip in and buy the Saints Row license and hand it back to THQ dev teams with the explicit understanding that the Giant Bomb crew get to help write the script.

Let's stop dancing around it and and ask some serious questions here: Who gets Destroy All Humans?
;) loved that game, never played the sequel though
My little brother played both of those games like he was dying.
Was he hoping to see a third game?
What about Destroy All Humans! Big Willy Unleashed?
Or how about Destroy All Humans! Path of the Furon?

Oh god, I loved the first two Destroy All Humans, but Path of the Furon may never be spoken of.
Oh. Didn't realize it was horrible, I've never played it, I just knew they did end up making a third game. I guess that's why they stopped making them, huh?@Vigorousjammer said:

Either Warner Brothers or Square Enix (Eidos), maybe even Ubisoft.
Just don't let EA or Activision get anything, and i'm happy.
Square Enix isn't necessarily in the position themselves to buy more properties at this point since they aren't in great shape either but if anything though they might be in the position of possibly buying Relic since they have published RTS games.
Auctioning off these IPs individually is never a good sign. I hope Square Enix or Take Two pick up some of the more prestigious ones, since they've both done good work for the most part over the last few years.

I hope whole studios are purchased with the properties. A non-Volition Saints Row would be terrible.
Agreed. Make it a package deal. The SR3 PC port was well done, so it would be nice to feel a little more confident for the next one (to avoid that whole SR2 thing....).

Yeeep! They threw out all of the humor and made it all combat, but not even the best combat compared to DAH2. Just my opinion, but damn was that a bummer.
