A friend had Thrill Kill back in the day. I don't rmember what kind of version of ithe had, or how he got it. We were just kids back then. It was very unfinished game with lots of bugs and it was very thin on content overall, but it was very playable. EA canceled this game when they bought Virgin Games (who was it's Publisherbefore being bought by EA) using the argument that it was way too violent* and it would harm their image as a game publisher (Cowards).

Comment: Since when is awesome mindless superviolence sensless?
Thrill Kill was a very fun game. It was extremely brutal. You just ran around (more like creeping slowly) a themed (like a disgusting public restoom) room with 3 other character, beating the hell our of each other, and it was fun. The action felt good, you could really feel how you put an enormous hurt on another player. The characters were straight out of hell, disfigured and bloodthirsty to boot. When the energy bar of a competing player were almost gone, that was the time you could use a cool finishing move on him or her, sort of like they have in Mortal Kombat, but during combat, and way cooler. I don't really remember most of them, or how they performed I just remember they were violent as hell.
This game might have been pretty damn violent for it's time, but it's a shame it never got released, I think other developers and games could have been inspired by some of it's content and crazy brawling action. It also used the Rumble feature in the Playstation controller better than most games.
If you haven't played Thrill Kill, try to get your hands on a copy of whatever pre-alpha version there is out there. It's a forgotten gem this one. You who have played, please discuss your fond memories of it, or your despise, whatever's fine.
