Alternatively: Why the fuck do Zelda fans hate Tingle?
With the recent Skyward Sword hubbub I started thinking about Zelda , and my mind turned to Tingle pretty soon. (I don't mean....uh...shut up!)
Is it because of his status as a childish, friendless 35 year old single man with a disappointed parent? DId that hit too close home with gamers? Or is it because people have some misguided notion that Zelda games are "Dark" and "Edgy"? I seriously don't get it.
I love Tingle, its like the developers are making fun of their fans(I especially love how he's been in every major Zelda game, even though fans keep bitching about him.). He's also just an endearing, all-around fun character to experience. Tingle, Tingle, Kooloo-Limpah!
