So apparently on Reddit some people have using files from the beta and combining them with the preloaded files to play the game early. It seems that even though the servers are really unstable if you try enough times you might just be able to get in a game or two. Huh...

yeah, very unclear if your doing something bannable if you do this though. since your modifying game files

People on the internet always find a way to do just about anything these days, so I'm not surprised.

The game has seemed to have leaked on Xbox One as well.

Aaaaand this is why we can't have nice things, like Pre-Loading on Xbox One.

@ottoman673: If they had let people preload on Xbox I doubt they could've gone and modified the .exe or whatever to play it early.

Hey, people were able to get spoilers and other such things out of the PS3 preload of GTA: V... at this point I put nothing beyond the modders/hackers

@ottoman673: People had already been able to hack into the PS3 though, Titanfall will have been out for a while until that happens with the Xbox One.

Yikes, that sounds sketchy as hell. Respawn's said they won't ban legit copies from playing early, but that sort of workaround sounds likely to be flagged as illegitimate.

Why is anyone surprised anymore that people play or receive a game before it's release date?

hmmmmm but you need to log into microsoft's servers in order to access the menus past the start screen..... there is nothing about this I don't see someone getting banned.

Well they get a head start on levels and unlocking stuff.

Getting the feeling that people really care about this game. Pretty cool, hope the multiplayer holds up and is fun.
