TitanFall the new king of shooters? Or a huge disappointment?

I ran through a burning hole in a wall being chased by an enemy Titan. I ran up on three enemies on foot after a few seconds my smart pistol locked onto them and after four squeezes to the RT trigger they fell. I then ran 360 around the wall in front of me and jumped onto the Titan that had finally caught up with me. After a few more seconds I was feet in the air watching the Titan explode into pieces. It was an incredible rush. A rush that TitanFall delvers time and time again.

TitanFall was developed by previous Call of Duty creators Jason West and Vince Zampella. So when they formed their new studio aptly named ‘Respawn Entertainment’ everyone knew whatever came out from them was going to be something good. And very good TitanFall is, in almost every way.

TitanFall Is built around its 6v6 multiplayer. and you may think that is too small of a number of players. But once you play a few rounds you quickly learn that it’s just right. The gameplay is the best part of TitanFall and it’s fast and fluid. Switching from parkour to running on the ground to jumping into your titan. It’s all very fun and fast. There are a number of AI bots running around the battlefield to help out on either team. This is one of the places TitanFall fails, The AI bots are amazingly dumb and sometimes it can be hard to tell them apart from the other team. Along with the AI bots and other players there are also the titans. There are three types of titans in TitanFall, Every two minutes you can call in your own Titan. There is nothing better than hitting down on the d-pad and looking to the sky and watching your Titan fall. From that point you can hop in and control it yourself or set it to guard mode where it stays in the same place and “Guards” it. Then the second option if follow mode. Where you titan follows you around the map and help you gain kills. There are three Titan classes A smaller thinner class called The Stryder, a heavy more bulky class called the Ogre, and the jack of all trades class called the Atlas , which is the best of both worlds.

The weakest part of TitanFall is its campaign. If you could even call it that. TitanFall’s campaign is just around ten levels of multiplayer modes with a story that doesn’t make much since thrown around it. Two of the most important parts of TitanFall or of any completive multilayer so its unlocks and maps. TitanFall for the most part is full of 15 maps all of which are wonderfully built for all the different ways to play the game. The more time I spent exploring the more I loved each and every one of them. As far as unlocks go TitanFall has several different unlocks. A fairly wide range of weapons and gadgets to help you on the battlefield. There are unlocks for both your pilot and your titan.

TitanFall is a special game in several ways. I very few ways does it stumble. Its highs of much much higher then its lows. It could use more game modes and perhaps some more unlocks but none of these things hurt TitanFall. It’s an amazing experience anyway you play it. And everyone should play it.

A breath of fresh air for the FPS genre. 0

BluePoint's XBOX 360 port of Respawn Entertainment's debut game for the XBOX ONE is a very good one. I've played both console versions and aside from the visuals, they are both identical in terms of content and performance. The good thing about the 360 version is that it loads matches much faster than its bigger brother. "Titanfall" can be described as "Call of Duty" with mechs, but that isn't entirely accurate. It's more like an evolution of the FPS genre due to the ability to double jump and w...

      Xbox's Killer Game 0

Ever since the game won or nominated 60 awards. Titanfall shares the similarities gameplay of Call Of Duty series and Battlefield series. Titanfall allows you to ride your own robot and smash the living crap on every single enemy on the field. The graphics is awesome. but I criticize the plot for being short and not making a proper story.Titanfall somehow reminded me of playing Dino Crisis series, Halo Series, and Dead Space series. (as the monsters was shown on every maps).P.S. cant wait for Tit...
