Toadsworth is Princess Peach's personal steward who first appeared in Super Mario Sunshine. Since then, he has appeared in a number of Mario franchise spin-offs.
Overview
Toadsworth is often seen accompanying Princess Peach. He is an old Toad who has been Princess Peach's steward for a long time (as evidenced in Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time). His first appearance was in Super Mario Sunshine, and he has seen appeared in many Mario games and spin-offs. He is portrayed as a worrisome, caring steward for Princess Peach. He is usually concerned about the safety of the situation that Princess Peach is being sent into. His voice actor is Charles Martinet.Toadsworth the Younger
A younger version of Toadsworth is seen in Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time, when the brothers go back in time. Even as a middle-aged Toad, he is always concerned about Princess Peach's safety. He meets his older self, and the two take care of a Baby Peach (they also teach the younger Mario brothers new moves).Super Mario Sunshine
Toadsworth's debut appearance is in Super Mario Sunshine, where he is seen with Mario and Princess Peach at the beginning of the game, flying to Isle Delfino. For the start of the vacation, he merely follows Princess Peach around, but after she is kidnapped by Shadow Mario, he travels around the island, always worrying about her safety.Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga
Toadsworth has a minor appearance in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga. He appears at the beginning of the game, before Mario and Luigi leave on their quest to recover Princess Peach's voice. He presents Mario with a Suitcase and 100 Coins. He later travels to the Beanbean Kingdom as well, where he is seen constantly worried about Princess Peach (after she gets kidnapped). He develops a good friendship with Beanbean Kingdom adviser Lady Lima.Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door
Toadsworth is again seen accompanying Princess Peach, this time to the town of Rogueport. Despite staying very close to Princess Peach (in an attempt to keep her from getting kidnapped again), she is captured. He contacts Mario, who comes to help rescue her. Toadsworth stays in the inn of Rogueport for the rest of the game.Other Apperances
Toadsworth also makes appearances in a variety of other Mario games and spin-offs. He is the host of a cruise in Mario Party 7. He also mans the Toad Houses in New Super Mario Bros. When the player wins in Mario Kart: Double Dash!!, he drives the Parade Kart, which takes the player to their trophy. In Mario Power Tennis, he takes the role of the referee. Yakuman DS, a Japan-only mahjong game, he is an opponent. Toadsworth is also playable in Mario Superstar Baseball and Mario Super Sluggers. Toadsworth is a trophy and a sticker in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Toadsworth is also planned to make a return in Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story.Toadsworth games
