Sonic 2 is my favorite game of all video game times! :)
But also:
Jurassic Park
Vectorman
Sonic 1 and 3
Subterranea
Street Fighter 2
The Lion King
Mortal Kombats
The NBA Live games were fantastic
The Disney movie games happened to be pretty fun. Especially on the Genesis versions. And Jurassic Park for the Genesis RULES! The other versions on the other consoles were awful though.
I could go on and on here.

Toejam & Earl is my favorite video game of all time. I don't know why. It's so easy. But it is (has):
- extremely unique
- great game mechanics (I love the present system)
- different levels every time
- hilarious
- great music
- pick-up-and-playability
- no-brainer fun
- fun multiplayer
- great, dorky, early-90's feel
I love it. Forever. It should be on the DS. It should be revitalized in HD on XBLA. Everyone should appreciate this game dammit.
