Clearly, these reviewers have no idea what real modern air combat is like. Of course, that might be because it doesn't really exist....
But even if it did, the computer does almost all the work nowadays. Modern HUDs allow you to fire your missile at anything you can see merely by looking at it. Dogfighting has always been about, and it always WILL be about getting your plane behind the other guy's. Missiles guide themselves in modern combat. There really isn't much more to it, but the reviewers all seem to want to complain that it isn't living up to their idea of "modern air combat".
