Apparently it is none other than the Robomodo mascot. That...is a tad disappointing. Would have rather had Spider-Man or Private Carerra as the second secret skater. I gotta say if there is one disappointing part about this game it is in fact the roster of skaters. Was REALLY hoping for Rune Glifberg. Christ Air was my favorite special move.
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater HD

Return to skateboarding game roots in this high-definition remake of the earliest games from the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater series.
Secret Character revealed!
Yeah; I, too, was expecting Spider-Man or something similarly ridiculous but familiar. Although this in itself isn't very surprising, I guess.
Aw man, this is the first I've heard of the roster issues. The gimped soundtrack was easily fixable, but the gimped roster not so much. Suddenly far less excited for this game. Still probably gonna get it at some point though.
I wouldn't be surprised if licensing Spider-man or any other big comic book hero is a bit too big for their XBLA wallet.
that's not terrible, but they should have had like, Captain Price or something.
@ck1nd: Activision have had the Spider Man licence since the 90s. That's how they were able to put him into Tony Hawk in the first place.
@pyromagnestir: Yeah, the roster doesn't sound too great. I mean, where is Bob Burnquist and Bucky Lasek? And Roberta isn't an exciting secret character. Still, the game looks fun, so I'll be picking it up when it comes to PSN.
@mosespippy: I'm not going to pretend like I know what I'm going on about, but are we sure that Activision still holds rights to Spider-man in a Tony-Hawk game? I wouldn't be surprised if holding the license isn't enough to throw him into whatever you want - but like I said, I won't pretend.
However, if what you say is true - that is a bit of a bummer that they did not include him.
Edited for obvious typos.

Activision has all kinds of Spider-Man rights, I don't think it would be a big issue.
@ck1nd: I can't say for sure but their rights to the licence was what got him into Tony Hawk in the first place. It was because they didn't have to negotiate any new deals. Of course Spiderman has appeared in Marvel vs. Capcom 3 so either Capcom had to pay Activision to do it or Marvel still holds some rights. I know in the case of Porche that EA has that and Sony & Microsoft have to pay EA to get Porches in Gran Turismo & Forza and that EA could easily turn them down and not let them have Porches in their games at all. I imagine it's similar but all these licensing deals are different.
I would have like spider-man, or maybe even the neversoft eyeball dude I remember playing as him all the time back in the day

I believe they explained this on comicvine recently, but activision holds the license to Spiderman solo games, and someone else holds the rights to marvel team games.
