    Good game overall.

    Pros:
    Great gameplay
    Nail the Trick is amazing
    Great soundtrack
    Ok Story
    Realistic levels
    Ok graphics

    Cons:
    Small levels
    No motion cap
    Lacking create mode
    Small special list
    Can't change tricks
    No classic mode

When I heard people saying how much the PlayStation 2 version of Tony Hawk's Project 8 was gonna suck, I was wondering if I should even get the game but, after playing the game I think they were CLEARLY mistaken. The gameplay is still amazing after all these years. The Nail the Trick feature is wonderfully well done making the game feel new again. The story is okThe graphics are good (not as good as they could have though.) The soundtrack is the best (in my opinion) in the series. With bands like Immortal, Ministry, and Slayer you can't go wrong. The negatives to the game is even though the levels are realistic they are small compared to levels in past games. There is no motion cap in the game. The create mode is very lacking. Theres is like 5 pants to choose from. The special trick selection is small and you can't change you normal tricks. No Classic mode is a bummer. This is a great game and if your a fan of the series I recommend picking this game up.

I dont need a storyline in a skating game, I never have, I never understood why we needed to pretend we actually could skate when we cant. I...
