    Tony Marquez is an actor and accomplish martial artist. He was voted Rookie of the Year in 1989 by NASKA.

    Marquez joined Midway for the development of Mortal Kombat II, where he took the role of Kung Lao. He would continue the role in Mortal Kombat 3 in 1993. He also found work at Midway as a ninja in Revolution X and as the Wind God (later known as Fujin in MK4) in Mortal Kombat Mythologies: Sub-Zero.

    His work as Kung Lao would live on in the releases of Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3, Mortal Kombat Trilogy, Mortal Kombat Advance, Midway Arcade Treasures 2, and Ultimate Mortal Kombat.

    Marquez currently teaches MMA, Sanshou, and Wushu in his hometown of Chicago.
