I'm really excited for Too Human, I played the demo like 3 times already & I've almost finished a YouTube vid showin how to unlock the rest of the classes in the Demo. I've seen a lot of shit-talkin but I've been excited for this since b4 the 360 came out...
-Yer thoughts?
Too Human
Game » consists of 8 releases. Released Aug 19, 2008
In this action-RPG from Silicon Knights, players take on the role of the Norse god Baldur, whose protective feelings towards humanity and refusal to augment his body with cybernetics lead the other Aesir to label him "too human".
Too Human: Too Cool or Too Lame?
I don't really know. I haven't even played the demo. I'm just going to wait and see what everyone thinks about it
"I don't really know. I haven't even played the demo. I'm just going to wait and see what everyone thinks about it"Get away from your computer and go play that game right now lol. Also, just so you know you can play as all the classes. Go to youtube and check it out..its a pretty cool game.
I have played the demo probably close to 15-20 times. I have seen some pretty cool loot items along the way everytime as well. I have played all the races too. and I have to say that I have just had fun with the game everytime. I vote too cool.
I could see how this game could have been cool if the controls were not so broken. The game is going to suck. The controls make it almost unplayable.
Too Cool in too lame sorta ways.
1st the game play is a blast, while the stiff animation and some of the models aren't that great it give it a old school feel with in being LAME seems very cool
2nd the items are great fun to mod, make, and use but the lame names like my "Willful Hybrid Plasma Rifle of Carnage" is so lame with its name that its cool
Yeah TOO HUMAN is a much buy for me, buts hits some corn ball moments that I think are just great.
Man this sucks, i was one of the few that had faith in this game, and now that the demo is out my 360 is dead with no warranty.
I downloaded the demo, but I'll probably hate it based solely on the fact that it is not a new Eternal Darkness game.
I can't quite say that I love it, but the potential for love is there. The controls definitely take some getting used to and the animations and framerate need some work. Luckily the demo is an earlier build, so there's hope that the graphical hitches will be ironed out. Even with those problems I had a fun time with it and my God is there a ton of loot and character customization, and that's only in the demo! I'll probably give'r a purchase, though I'm sure press and user reviews will be less than favorable.
"The demo was kinda slow, hopefully the game has a better pace."

You don't say :o
So, we'll be able to use our single player character with a friend, and then bring him back to the story after, right?
Because the 2 player mode does not actually have story? Just dungeon crawling loot grabbing aspects?
"So, we'll be able to use our single player character with a friend, and then bring him back to the story after, right?I'm pretty sure that's how it works, yeah. All your characters can be moved from one to another and back again, keeping all their loot and whatever.

After playing the demo, I can't say i'm too excited...
I dunno, it feels like it should have been on the Dreamcast or something...
The graphics are alright, with the exception of your character, the character models aren't quite as nice as the backgrounds...
as far as gameplay and controls though, it feels like a Dreamcast game...
which means, I want to like it, because I like a lot of Dreamcast games, but it just doesn't feel substantial enough...
A lot of those Dreamcast games have a nostalgia factor that will allow me to go back to them, but too human obviously does not...
and even with those nostalgic dreamcast games, I can only play them ofr maybe an hour or so before getting bored of them...
I think it's a little too basic in it's presentation, and feels like it should have came out 6 or 7 years ago...
and I think the combat is pretty repetitive too... I would probobly get bored of Too Human before beating it... so, i'm not really looking foward to it, and I probobly won't buy it...
Its hard to say. Getting loot is fun. But the combat doesn't feel right. I don't know why it just isn't fun. The animation is stiff at best. And the graphics at times look alright. But most the time it would be barely adequate.
I think it will have a core following but not much beyond that.

"Dungeon crawler? fast paced combat? crazy color coded loot?Well said, sir.
I'm in.

Too Cool, here. I liked how deep and challenging the combat system was.
"Hulk not know there is a demo. Hulk try it out and maybe change Hulk mind. Right now Hulk not care "Too Much".

Remember to remove your ethernet cable/wireless thingie and set you console date to 2009 (or whatever, just not 2008)
When you get the demo, it's locked for just Champion. It opens up more classes. I suggest, due to the low level limit, that you play Berserker. I liked him better than Champion.

At first i didnt know really but the more i played the demo the more it grew on me, i really enjoy it.
I like the concept but the execution could have been better.I personally don't like the combat being mapped to the right analog stick and I also like to have control of the camera most of the time or if I don't then I at least want a camera to follow better than the one in the demo did.I could probably deal with the camera though if the attacks were mapped to buttons instead of the sticks. It is just too awkward try to play and I don't want to get comfortable to that layout. It is a shame though because when I think of Norse mythology being combined with some technological sci-fi scenario it just sounds badass and since there will be a trilogy I really wish I get get over the controls hurdle as it were.
