hello every time i play torchlight 2 it runs at 70fps and dten in combat drops to 30-40 fps i really want to have this game run good please help ! my specs are : windows xp a 2.4gig prossesor 2 gig`s of ram and a Nvidia GTX 250

my apologies. i am stupidest when i am trying to be funny.

Make sure you have Hardware Skinning *enabled* as it'll tank your framerate if you turn it off. Make sure your graphics drivers are up to date, too. Also consider decreasing particle detail, as that's what you see most of during combat. Decreasing shadow detail might help, too, as multiple enemies will draw multiple shadows, decreasing your framerate.

Also consider looking into upgrading the RAM in your computer to 4GB, and maybe getting a newer video card. You don't need anything crazy. An NVidia GTX 650 can be had for about $120 and would be a good, and affordable, upgrade from your current card. If you're looking to spend more, a GTX 660 or a GTX 660 Ti are also very good options, and also consider the AMD 7770 or 7850.

Not really false information. Their computer does need an upgrade however it should be able to handle Torchlight 2.

Although I'm not going to click the link (mostly because I don't care that much), I doubt that poster is a spambot simply because what it's saying is true. The game does need optimization.
