On the bombcast when Brad first started playing this game, he said that he thinks it's about 8-ish...if memory serves

I'm 21 hours into this game and it doesn't seem like it's going to stop. I finished what I thought was the game, but then it went "But wait, there's more" and now I'm several hours into the "more", with the "through the portal" sidequest line also not-finished. I'm playing on normal, and the few times I've died, I've hit the "respawn here" button, so it's not like I've been stuck or anything.
 
How long did you take you guys to finish it?

It took me 16 hours to beat it the first time at a pretty leisurely pace on Hard. There are 3 characters and an additional dungeon of unknown length after the main quest is over, so there is plenty more to do if you so desire.

Main campaign is quite short (how short depends on difficulty). Once you beat that major boss the levels infinitely repeat. I made that mistake as well.
