Overview
Toushirou Hitsugaya (日番谷 冬獅郎) is the 10th division captain of Soul Society's Gotei 13. His vice-captain is Rangiku Matsumoto (松本 乱菊). Although he looks rather young, he acts very mature and often more mature than Matsumoto. His Zanpakuto, Hyorinmaru (氷輪丸) is said to be the strongest ice-type in all of Soul Society. Hitsugaya can release his Bankai without effort, this has given him names like prodigy or "boy genius" in the Gotei 13. In Shounen Jump, the weekly publication that houses Bleach, there was a popularity contest for the characters of Bleach; Hitsugaya ranked number 1 amongst the many fans of the series.Toshirou Hitsugaya games
