    Maybe this doesn't warrant a new topic, but for anyone who played Rome and was impressed with how broken it was, I am a fairly stubborn Total War fan who has been repeatedly trying the game and after starting another campaign last night, I think that if you try it now, you'll get the challenge you were looking for.

    That's not to say the game is totally fixed - the main thing I've noticed is that enemy pikemen don't employ phalanx formation, but from a campaign map AI perspective, things are much better now.

    I stopped playing shortly after they ruined phalanx formation by spreading them out, thus allowing enemy units to pass right through.... Which playing as a Greek only player this ruined my fun.
