Towa Chiki developed a number of small profile games in its time, including (and most notably) A Week of Garfield (Game). They are more famous in Japan for developing "Idol Hakkenden", which has a bit of a cult following. They ceased game development in 1991 and were dissolved by their parent company, Towa San Electronics. Towa San Electronics was purchased by a GEO Corporation, a video/DVD rental company, in 2001.
