    So I went on TM2 today and the GB server is no longer listed. Not on my favourites and not on the California region either. whats going on?

    @Tamaster92: I hopped on for the first time today in a few months and was sad that it was gone too. I'm pretty sure it's a Shootmania server now, and/or Jeff's let it expire.

    I don't know about the in-game server listings, but the link still works for me, I played a few tracks just now.

    The server works, but its kinda busted. No custom music and only 2 tracks, for me.

    man GB classic was the reason to play. TM2 seems pretty dead now.

    Yeah, didn't Jeff say that their constant updates kept breaking the plug-ins, which were the only thing making Trackmania have useful features because vanilla Trackmania has fuck-all in it?

    A combination of that and the switch to the Shootmania version of the engine pissed some people off. There were specific lighting changes and what-not that had messed with tracks people had already made, and the community was not happy about it. Seemed like pretty much anyone making maps or running a server was pretty consistently getting burned with the patches, so the community's really died out at this point.

    Sad to hear. I was actually thinking of playing some Trackmania the other day. Last time I did nobody was online though. :/
