    Tracy McGrady is a 6'8", 210 lb. Guard-Forward who is playing for his fifth team. Tracy McGrady was born in Bartow, Florida on May 24, 1979. "T-Mac" was drafted 9th overall in the 1997 NBA Draft by the Toronto Raptors. McGrady averaged 15.4 points per game in his third season with the Raptors who would make the playoffs. On August 3, 2000 he was traded by the Raptors to the Orlando Magic for a 2005 first round draft pick (Fran Vazquez.) He was award the NBA's Most Improved Player for 2000-01. That year he was 6th in points for the season and made All-NBA second team. The Magic would make the playoffs for the first three years that T-Mac was in Orlando. McGrady was named All-NBA first team in 2001-02 and was 4th in points per game. He was named All-NBA first team in 2002-03 and garnered 32.1 points per game (winning the scoring title.) He was named All-NBA second team in 2003-04 and earned the scoring title again with 28.0 points per game. Tracy would make the All-Star team in all four years with Orlando. On June 29, 2004 he was traded by the Magic with Reece Gaines, Juwan Howard, and Tyronn Lue to the Houston Rockets for Kelvin Cato, Steve Francis, and Cuttino Mobley. He was 7th in steals during the 2003-04 season and 6th in points per game with 25.7. While with the Rockets McGrady would have several health issues, including a recurring back injury, back spasms, and a need to have surgery on his left knee. While with Houston, McGrady and the Rockets would make it to the playoffs three times, but only advance past the first round once, in the 2008-09 season. McGrady would average 24.4 points per game and 4.8 assists per game during the 2005-06 season. The following year he would make the All-NBA second team and was 10th in points per game with 24.6. During the 2007-08 season he would average 21.6 points per game, 5.9 assists per game, and 5.1 rebounds per game. The following year he averaged 15.6 points per game, 5.0 assists per game, and 4.4 rebounds per game. McGrady's numbers would dip significantly during the 2009-10 season. During that season, on February 18, 2010 he was traded by the Rockets to the New York Knicks for Jordan Hill, Jared Jeffries, a 2011 first round draft pick, and a 2012 first round draft pick. On August 16, 2010 McGrady signed with the Detroit Pistons. Overall T-Mac has made the All-Star Team 7 times and won the scoring title during 2 seasons.
