Traffic Cone
Traffic cones are used mostly in driving and racing games, but have appeared in many other video games as well.
Overview
Traffic cones are cone-shaped objects, usually orange in color, sometimes with white bands across them, that in real-life are used to safely direct traffic. Traffic cones can be used in driving games to indicate the area in which the player is intended to drive, however they may simply exist in the game for aesthetic appeal. One of the more famous unconventional recognitions of traffic cones in a video game came about when it transpired that players in Halo 3 could be killed by traffic cones.
