    The Lost Auto-Viking-Bots

Transformers Animated The Game is The Lost Vikings type puzzle platform. You are in charge of three Autobots: Optimus Prime, Bumblebee and Bulkhead. Each with their own unique abilities. Optimus can throw a axe according to the line drawn on touchscreen as well as a grapple to certain levels. Bumblebee's unique ability is to be able jump and use electrical switches. Bulkhead can break certain walls and move big items. Fourth Autobot Prowl is playable in couple of race levels. These race missions are simple chase sequences where enemies are taken down.

Story of the game follows the Transformers Animated series that originally ran between 2007-2009. Story is displayed with 2D cut-scenes and occasional 3D clip that seems to be taken from the series. Original voice actors are voicing the dialog. There isn't really much to mention about the story since it follows a traditional Transformers plot. Meaning AllSpark and Decepticons.

Game-play as mentioned is a direct page from The Lost Vikings type game-play. There are 25 levels in the game, which includes 2 boss fights and couple of aforementioned racing levels. The puzzle levels are well made but only after 20 levels these start to get little bit of challenging. In one sitting this would be rather boring experience.

As mentioned the real voice actors do the voices of robots which sound good. Although the comments between changing the bots get annoying after a while. Not to mention Sari's voice, who is 8 year old kid helping Autobots.

Visuals are done with cel-shaded 2D cartoon look that generally looks good. The puzzle levels where majority of game is based is mostly a rogue robot factory and Cybertron. Not too much difference between these locations or the levels generally.

Other than for a Transformers fan there isn't really much here to take. Biggest gripe is the repetitive levels. Even though puzzle part is supposed to add some challenge this is never really a case. Not really a bad game but perhaps bit boring.
