A retelling of the original DS game Trauma Center: Under the Knife, this Wii game follows rookie surgeon Derek Stiles as he learns about a special power he possesses, which he must use to fight against a man-made outbreak.
Gameplay
The gameplay in Trauma Center: Second Opinion, is very similar to it's predecessor Trauma Center: Under The Knife, which was released on the Nintendo DS. The game uses the features of the Wii Remote and Nunchuck, to replace the stylus which was used in Trauma Center: Under the Knife. The Wii Remote is used to carry out actions on screen: such as stichings, draining blood etc., while the Nunchuck is used to easily switch between medical apparatus. Like in the previous game, it is your job as Derick Styles to save the life of your patients by performing operations and later on in game, to prevent the damage caused by "GUILT", a terrorist made viral infection. Some extra features that are included in Trauma Center: Second Opinion, that were not included in it's DS predecessor are choice of difficulty levels, as well as a new "Z" chapter side story, that focuses on a new doctor, Dr. Weaver. Another addition is another extra sixth chapter, that takes place after the original chapters.Plot
The plot of Trauma Center: Second Opinion, is very similar to it's predecessor Trauma Center: Under The Knife. The only added plot is Dr. Weaver's side story missions, in the new "Z" chapter.
