Trevor Chan's breakthrough game Capitalism was released in 1995, developed by Trevor Chan's own company Enlight Software. The game was critically acclaimed for its complex, yet enjoyable simulation of business models including production, distribution and sales. The next title to come out of Enlight Software was the kick-off to the Seven Kingdom series, which was equally acclaimed for its game design and playability. At a later stage of its existence Enlight Software also published games themselves, although the new approach to game design was considerably more casual, leading to the output of titles such as Restaurant Empire and Hotel Giant. Trevor Chan is one of the few game designers whose name has been put in front of game titles in order to push the games's sales (others including Sid Meier, Chris Sawyer and American McGee, who is also a member of Enlight Software)
