So I just bought this game the other day to get ready for the action on thursday. I didn't actually think it'd be my kind of thing, but I am thoroughly enjoying it. Anyone else thinking of getting in on some of that TNT action?

Hopefully it won't be a huge let down like last time. Even if it did make for a great TNT.

I gave it a try a while back. After playing for a few hours I realized that was as much of that game I needed. I had seen everything that game had to show me and it didn't have a hook to keep me playing.

I didn't even know they'd done Tribes before. Guess I could have researched beforehand.

I really hope it goes down and goes well. Not really sure how matchmaking works, hopefully there's a way to create a party or something.

Also really hope they play CTF, that's really where it's at imo. We'll see. even if they change it to some other game I'm not gonna feel like i wasted my money, 'cause I'm actrually really enjoying it.

I played it a lot earlier this year and got it out of my system. The newer patches haven't done anything to lure me back, quite the opposite, but I'll try to jump in.

They were supposed to have done a Tribes TNT but what actually ended up happening is that for some reason Vinny was in control of the whole thing, which meant that they played Tribes for like 30 minutes before Vinny's attention span waned and then they played a bunch of other games.

Hopefully it's going to be Jeff at the helm this time, seeing as he's the best FPSer at GB. Also, hopefully they have their own server.

i also downloaded tribes for the tnt but everytime i start it the game just crashes. ah well.

I hope this one also results in them playing other, not related games like the last Tribes Ascend TNT.

As a guy who just got into it and put 40 some hours in it, seeing that TNT this week was tribes made me happy.

I do not remember the other Tribes TNT. Anybody got a link?

Yea I'm excited for this too, easily one of my favorite multiplayer games of the year. The feeling of killing someone midair with a spinfusor shot is amazing.

All a VIP account does is get you 50% bonus XP though.

I'm still torn if I want to play or watch the stream - don't think my connection here can handle both.

I'll probably end up playing though, just because it would be the first time I actually participate in a TNT and becuase I've actually gotten decent at Tribes.

Stream is recorded so you can watch it later. Getting into the server will be the hard part.

whoever is running the TNT should just set their region to Japan, it's always dead there and you potentially get almost all giantbomb folks joining the game if they know to set their region to japan for the TNT.

I'm too into Persona 4 Arena to play Tribes, that probably should have been the TNT.

if you have a nvidia card try updating to the latest drivers, apparently there is a problem with a specific version of physix

Because Ryan didn't say this and you kind of need this info to find the server, it's on the USWEST region.

Ok I'm new to the TNT's and I know I'm late, but how do they usually handle the passwords? I checked Ryan's twitter and he talked about they passworded the server, but do they usually reveal those in tweets or at the beginning of the chat or something?
