I'm very excited for this game and was hoping to be playing it right now but the demo doesn't seem to have dropped yet. Anyone know if there's an official time that demos usually show up on the PSN store?

I think I read on twitter today that it would be noon pacific which is @875 .beats for those of us on the internet.

Anybody else play the demo yet? I just started the download. Definitely looking forward to it.

It's pretty tight, though the online stuff isn't working currently for me. Play the training to get used to the controls, because there hasn't been a game quite like it for a while.

online works for me. Man those menus....haha looks like they are going for nosalgia maybe. Game is fun, finding it very hard to kill people tho.

only thing bothering me is that there doesnt appearto be a reverse. Atleast not that i can find. Keep wanting to back up.

@handlas: There is a reverse. Either pull back on the right stick or hold the circle button. Or maybe it was double tap the circle button. I was messing with the controls so I could be wrong but it's definitely on there somewhere. The game feels great. Instantly felt like playing the old stuff again. Seems outrageously hard so far though. It's so fast.

@handlas: It's double tap circle or back on the right stick. Theres a controls menu and a tutorial mode that shows you all that stuff.

Also you can turbo backwards by clicking the right stick while holding it back but i'm not 100% sure on that one.

I had some connection issues at first and was shit for the first few rounds but I'm starting to get the hang of it. Going from forward to reverse and back again was kinda throwing me off though and I keep holding the triggers to accelerate, a la every other driving game out there.
