Twisted Pixel is best known for its downloadable games: The Maw and 'Splosion Man.
Twisted Pixel was founded by Michael Wilford, Frank Wilson and Josh Bear in 2006. They are located in Austin, Texas where they have a staff of 15 people. They are best known for The Maw, a XBLA game that got fair reviews. They have recently completed a new downloadable game called 'Splosion Man, which was released on July 22nd, 2009, for XBox Live Arcade. They also helped Midway put out NBA Ballers: Chosen One and Blitz: The League II. In NBA Ballers Twisted Pixel did the entire Story Mode, Achievements, Save/Load/Profile Management, and Video Playback. With Blitz: The League II, Twisted Pixel did the Campaign Mode and some other features of the game. Midway and the Ballers team often credited Twisted Pixel for being dependable and playing a critical role in the successful completion of the title. Though they helped Midway make the games, they were not credited with developing the game.| Company Name | Twisted Pixel Games |
