Hats off to whoever said it earlier in this thread. This game is being delayed until next year. That's probably a good delay because these guys really have to get it right this time.

Once they'd missed their September date the smart decision was probably to forget this year anyway - even if they could have been ready for October or November.  If they'd gone out close to Fable and New Vegas they'd have just been flattened anyway.  If they can put it out some time between Christmas and Dragon Age 2, then they at least have a chance.

I loved the first, got almost all the achievements too, and I'm eagerly awaiting this one. The news of the delay has me more excited too because they can polish it more, and this fall is already jam packed as it is.

I don't see how it could be any worse than Arcania Gothic Tale. At any rate, TW2 needs a demo before I will even consider purchasing it from the bargain bin 10 months from now.

I tried the first game and after about an hour 1/2 of playing my horse got stuck in between a barrel and a broken wagon.  I was pissed.  I couldn't stand the first one.  I hated the clunky controls for your horse.  My horse had seizures and down syndrome all at the same time.  Hell he had down syndrome so bad, he had up, left, and right syndrome too.  I couldn't take the unbalanced dialog either.  They talk calmly and then the next minute they sound like two gorillas raping a cat.

I always wondered if I would've liked the first if I could've gotten past the horrible first impression it gave me.
Unfortunately, I always have too many games in my backlog to deeply investigate everything and Two Worlds got dumped pretty fast.
 
I'll keep an eye on Two Worlds II, but I think I'll avoid holding my breath.

Yeah dude been keeping my eye on this for the past year or so, really looking forward to it now.  The stat system sounds a lot like Demon's Souls (= sounds GREAT).  Customizable spells sounds like I might actually play a mage and enjoy one.
