Overview
Ty the Tasmanian Tiger is a 3D platformer with gameplay elements similar to Super Mario Sunshine. It was produced by Krome studios, and published by EA Games. It is about one of the last Tasmanian Tigers, Ty, as he searches for five talismans to save his family from the Dreamworld and defeat the evil Boss Cass. It is the first game in the 'Ty the Tasmanian Tiger' franchise, followed by 'Ty 2: Bush rescue' and finished with 'Ty the Tasmanian Tiger 3: Night of the Quinkan'. Ty the Tasmanian Tiger was released on September 10, 2002 in North America and November 22, 2002 in PAL regions. The game was recieved mildly well.Story
Ty the Tasmanian Tiger is based in the Australian outback, at a hub world called Rainbow cliffs. The game has Ty running aroud different-themed levels to collect Thunder Eggs to power a Koala called Julius' machine which is used to locate the five mystical talismans that Ty needs to find to save his family and his species. An Emu called Boss Cass had sealed the Tasmanian Tigers in the Aboriginal Dreamworld, and the last Tiger to be sucked in dislodged the talismans, closing the portal behind him. Ty, now an orphan, gets adopted by the Bilibies. many years later, a Bunyip (Spirit) reveals the truth to Ty, and he sets off to find the Talismans before Boss Cass, encountering many friends, and even more enemies. Creatures like Frill Lizards, Spiders, Crocodiles, A giant shark, A giant robot, and even another Tasmanian Tiger called Sly aid Cass in his attempt to stop Ty finding the talismans and saving the Tasmanian Tigers.Gameplay
