also, just played this, and im glad its as deep it is, but i guess it kinda had to be

Seriously though if you take the time to play the tutorial you will love the game. IF you try to just jump in there and play then you will be confused and blame the game cause you didnt take the time to learn how to play correctly.

The demo was alright even though on expert I could repeat the same 1-3 combos over and over again and down my opponent in under 30 seconds. The only people who can really do UFC justice is the same team that develops the Fight Night games for EA, at least this game will be worth a rent or a bargain bin purchase.

Oh, I totally forgot the demo was releasing today! I can't wait till I get home now.

I'm a huge UFC fan, but I'm scared the game is going to disappoint. The more I see of it the more scared I get. I hope I'm wrong.

i felt the same but i think it has surpased expectations.
anyone that complains you can get a 1 hit win doesnt know anything about MMA cause thats how it is in real life. I played several fights against both the computer and a friend and it was a blast doing both. getting a sudden knock out is sucha thrill and mostly unexpected by even the person throwing the punch. once timei gota crazy KO and i was like how did that KO him. In the replay you could see the punch landed right on the temple so just as in real life he dropped like a sack of taters so to speak. Im hooked

I had never heard of Yukes before now so they are new to me. I think the UFC and Zuffa wanted to make sure this game was quality and a true representation of the UFC and MMA fighting so they asked yukes to step it up. I heard they were reviewing the game and requesting changes and corretions throughout the whole process.

Yukes have made all the SmackDown! games and i'm sure that UFC demo has a lot of the SmackDown! animation in it. They're like the laziest developers ever."

i have played smackdown and this UFC demo. they are very NOT like eachother in any way.

Man, some of you people are colossal morons. Won't even try A DEMO. Go back to spooning yourself over Persona 4.

It was pretty fun until I realized that I could either superman punch someone until I got a TKO within 15-20 seconds and  not only that, but the facial wounds seem like the only appear if the round is up, and even then it's the same wounds every time.

Huge UFC fan. I'm having a blast with the PS3 version. I'm gonna play the 360 version with my bro now. Day 1 or 2 purchase depending if I'm busy or not!

After playing awhile with the demo (as I said, in different ways), I have concluded two things:

1) This game takes a very long time to load, unless it is really slow because my PC did a bad job of burning the demo to a disc. When I clicked the tutorial I was staring at a ring for like a good minute or so, and the same goes for when your at the arena waiting to fight.

2) This game is kind of easy, but I didn't really trying playing it on the harder difficulties. Using Liddell, I pretty much just spammed Left Stick + Y and I eventually had him down in 1-2 minutes. I then started to use Superman Punches and Kicks and that made it even easier. Although I'm having a great time knocking down the guy (I think it never gets old), it seems to easy. I don't even have to have a real strategy to defeat an opponent, and I'm going to assume modes like career mode are going to be more challenging.

It loads slow from disc cause that isnt the way its supposed to be plaed. download the demo and it loads pretty quick. i played from disc first too and it was super slow.

YEs it is really easy if you ply on default difficulty......hence the name of it being BEGINNER if that doesnt tell you anything. IF you raise the difficulty it gets much tougher. I played on expereienced and it was a touch harder. Then i went all the way up to expert and i was taken down and submitted time after time again. I won maybe 1 fight out of 10 at expert difficulty.

raise the difficulty and you will have a different experience. There isa huge difference between a stand up fight and a ground fight. There were some times when on the gorund that we just rolled for a solid minute cause i was pulling so many reversals and counters.

played the demo last night, didn't care much for it.

This game is sick! tbh if you love UFC you are going to love this game. Been playing the demo over and over again trying both styles from Shogun and the Iceman and the depth is well lets just say deep. Defintly going to pre-order the game.
