I really like Machida, but i have to agree, Rua dominated and was robbed of the title. But i guess the judges taught that to win a title match you really have to beat the champ, and that's a question up for debate. Do you need to cripple your opponent for life to win? Or should it be enough to just cripple him for the days or weeks after? If you go by answer one, then Machida maybe still should be the champ. But if you prefer door two then Rua should be the champ.
At the end of the day we should not blame Machida, hes not a judge, and non of hes trainers has any authority. So if we have to blame some one, blame Dana and the others that probably taught Machida brings more cash to the table.
For me, i really dont care, I'll still watch the next spectacle.
