From Game Informer:

Capcom and Sony have jointly announced the release of Ultra Street Fighter IV on PlayStation 4. The game is tagged with a budget price and will include all previously released characters, stages, and add-on content.

The $24.99 title will be launched simultaneously worldwide on May 26. Other Ocean Interactive, which is handling this version, has managed to cut out the input lag that players have reported on the PlayStation 3 version.

It's been quite a while since I played this, and the wait for this version has been long, so I'm pretty pumped to get back to it.

Is this going to be just a digital release or retail?

That is a pretty good price, seeing as Ultra on Steam is 30. If they also managed to get rid of the input lag as well then I can see this version having a pretty good online community.

I'm way behind on fight stick compatibility - will my ps3 SFIV stick work on ps4?

@geraltitude: entirely up to Capcom. I'm going to guess no. Right now the only PS4 games that support PS3 sticks are Skullgirls and MKX. If Capcom doesn't support this, expect everyone afterwards to follow suit.

Good price, sets a good precedent for future pricing of remasters.

PS3 fightstick support determines whether I get this or not, no matter how cheap it is.

I highly doubt they are gonna support PS3 sticks for this. Capcom and Madcatz are pretty tight and Madcatz wants to sell as many TE2s as possible right now while they are still one of the only PS4 sticks on the market.

Would be awesome if they do support the driver for USFIV on PS4 but I could also see Madcatz using that comment just to say that they support that driver being used with their hardware. In the end it is up to Capcom but with how big of a sponsor Madcatz is of the CPT and with all the advertising they have been doing for the TE2s I just don't see Madcatz being cool with Capcom potentially costing them sales by implementing the driver.

wow, that's pretty cool. I'm not the biggest SF player but I'll pick that up for $25. I hope that's for physical too. Hopefully they balk and support Ps3 sticks as I use my Virtua Stick Highgrade still and have no room, or interest, in buying a new stick.

I'm pretty stoked that it will not have that slight input delay the PS3 version had. Please don't have the sound glitch.

I wonder about the business relationship when you consider that every mad catz stick for the ps4 has sold out in preorder alone, and I doubt the next run which is the street fighter stick around may will be any different. They aren't even making enough for the demand so I wonder how much the ps3 driver would really hurt them.
