    Overview

    The seventh episode of the Umineko no Naku Koro ni series takes place in an alternative reality from the rest of the series where the Golden Witch doesn't exist and where Battler doesn't arrive to the Ushiromiya family conference on Rokkenjima. Instead, the chapter follows the ace inquisitor Willard H. Wright as he's tasked with solving the mystery surrounding the death of Beatrice and throughout the chapter a lot of the secrets of the series, its characters, and the legend of the Witch of Rokkenjima itself are uncovered.
